Meet Boomer!

Boomer is a 7 – 8 month old deaf Great Dane. Boomer was surrendered due to his owner not having enough time to dedicate to a young special needs Dane. Vision and/or hearing impairments are not unusual in white Great Danes.

Boomer needs to gain some weight and needs basic training. He is very much puppy and is learning boundaries! He’s going to daycare with two other Danes, which will help him socialize with others dogs and people.

Did you know that deaf dogs (and their owners!) need to learn hand signals for commands? Boomer will need a confident owner who is willing to put the time and energy into training him.

Despite his previous living conditions, Boomer is a very sweet dog who just wants love and attention.
